Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy General Cashier with strong administrative skills to join our team. The General Cashier will manage all cash transactions efficiently and accurately, reconcile daily reports, and perform general administrative duties to support smooth operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsible, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Count and verify all cash and credit transactions at the end of each shift
    • Prepare daily cash reports, deposit slips, and maintain accurate financial records
    • Reconcile cashier reports with system data and address any discrepancies
    • Process refunds, discounts, and other cashier adjustments as required
    • Maintain proper control of cash float and petty cash
    • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining company records
    • Assist with creating and preparing reports, memos, and correspondence as needed
    • Support other team members and departments with financial queries and administrative support
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management

 

Qualifications & Skills:

      • College diploma or equivalent; certification in accounting or related field is a plus
      • Proven work experience as a cashier or general cashier
      • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
      • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
      • Familiarity with basic administrative and office tasks (e.g. filing, data entry, report preparation)
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
      • High level of honesty and integrity
      • Good communication and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
